Joseph H. Berke M.D., is the Director of the Arbours Association and the Arbours Crisis Centre in London, where he also has a private practice as an individual and family psychotherapist. His forthcoming books include, Even Paranoids Have Enemies: New Perspectives on Paranoia and Persecution (co-editor and contributor), Routledge, and Psychoanalysis and Kabbalah (with Stanley Schneider), Jason Aronson Inc.

Principle psychological areas of interest include psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, psychosis, therapeutic communities, transpersonal psychology and treating the 'untreatable'. Other major areas of interest includes Judaism, and the Jewish mystical tradition: Kabbalah and Chassidism.
